There is no doubt that pallet delivery is the best choice when it comes to sending large or bulky items. However, it differs from a normal delivery in ways that you may not be aware of. This is particularly important for delivery to homes and domestic properties but also for industrial deliveries. If you are receiving the pallet then there are certain rules and guidelines that *must* be adhered to in order to achieve a successful delivery and to avoid problems.
Pallets should be within the normal size of 1000x1200mm, and not be larger or modified in any way. They should be within the height and weight limits for the size as shown below. Goods must not extend over the pallet's edges.
Pallet Length: 120 cm
Maximum Height: 220 cm

We can ship pallets that are larger than typical dimensions or include overhanging products. These are charged per pallet space or portion thereof. Please enter the number of pallet spaces as if they were distinct pallets and specify "1 x Oversize" in the further info' box below the collecting address.
The goods to be palletised must be securely packaged and protected for transport prior to collection.
Please note that all goods must be packaged prior to collection. We cannot package goods for you when collecting. The Driver will simply set the items on a pallet base and shrink-wrap them. Any goods that are not secured and packaged correctly for shipping may be excluded from our insurance coverage.
Each single item that must be palletised is limited to 70 kg, with a maximum of 50 items: The goods must be able to be manually lifted and secured to the pallet in a safe and timely way. The driver may assist in attaching the item(s) to the pallet.
The goods must fit inside the pallet dimensions you have paid for; failing to do so will almost certainly result in additional shipping expenses.
Please note: If the item is deemed unfit or unsafe for transportation, the collection driver has the right to refuse to collect.
When your pallet is delivered, you should check for damage of all of the items. If any shortage or damages are found, the delivery note should be marked accordingly, using the word “damaged” or “Shortage” or “Goods missing. The word “unchecked” or similar is not accepted as claused proof of delivery.
Insurance companies will not consider or accept a claim for damage or loss when a “clean” or “clear” or similar proof of delivery is produced.
